Aidez Charles à recueillir des fonds

This year, I am running with the Haiti team. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support a business of women who process cocoa in Haiti (chocolate liquor, hot chocolate balls, etc.).

This group is supported by the AVETI project which, since 2019, has enabled 3,500 cocoa and yam producers to improve their living conditions and 17,500 people to benefit indirectly. Concretely, this project aims to modernize agricultural practices in order to increase harvests and improve food quality. This then allows producers to sell at a better price and to a larger clientele.

With the support of the project team, the women of the TRAFKAD microenterprise are currently developing a business plan that will allow them to strengthen their business. In addition to technical training which will be financed by the AVETI project, they wish to rehabilitate their infrastructure and modernize their processing equipment to improve the quality of their products and their productivity.
