Our story…
We are running to support the Patients Amenities Fund of the MUHC, managed by social services.
No one can predict the future, and when illness strikes our focus should be on healing. Sadly, illness can result in disastrous financial consequences.
Social workers at the MUHC use the Patients Amenities Fund to help patients and their loved ones with the unexpected costs of illness, including items such as travel and parking costs, meal vouchers, and grocery needs.
Knowing how many Montrealers are already struggling to make ends meet, we want to help MUHC patients focus on healing - not worrying about where their next meal will be. Thank you for helping them!
