Black Bear Half Marathon and 8k

All participants will receive a commemorative finisher medal!
Overall and 1st Place Age Group award winners will receive an awesome, locally made, custom pottery mug!
2nd & 3rd Place Age Group winners will receive a Special Edition Black Bear print by local artist Amy Cocanour!

The 8k award ceremony will be at 9:30am and the half marathon awards ceremony will be at 10am.

IN-PERSON HALF MARATHON AWARDS

  • Overall (Top 3 in each gender) Mug + Gift cards to Fleet Feet
  • Masters (Top 1 in each gender) Mug + Gift cards to Fleet Feet


Age group awards (Top 3 overall male and female for each category) (First place - Mug) (2nd/3rd place - Special Edition Black Bear print by local artist Amy Cocanour)

12 and under, 13 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 - 74, 75 - 79, 80+

IN-PERSON 8K AWARDS

We expect the 8k race to be very fast with some of the fastest times for this distance and lots of personal records (PR’s) for all runners of varying abilities. Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:


CASH PRIZES will go to the following finishers:

  • 1st place overall (male/female) - $100
  • 2nd place overall (male/female) - $75
  • 3rd place overall (male/female) - $50

Must be present at the awards ceremony to accept your cash prize!
