Our story…
Calmer Choice mindfulness-based programs teaches skills to children, educators and adults to help improve stress-management, increase emotional regulation, focus and attention, and foster health, well-being and a more positive outlook. By teaching these skills in both schools, community-settings and now virtually through online offerings, we are creating safer, kinder, healthier and more supportive families, schools and communities.
We have served over 40,000 people since we began 12 years ago and are considered pioneers in the field of secular mindfulness. Our programs have been studied by researchers are Tufts, Yale, MIT and Harvard School of Education, who have found that our lessons have a positive impact on the mental health of our participants. This upcoming 2022-2023 school year, our goal is to reach over 6,000 people.
Donations to our amazing Falmouth Road Race Charity team will go to support the mental health & well-being of children and teachers in the Cape Cod and Plymouth County communities. The cost to bring our evidence-based, 8-week, 16-lesson mindfulness program to one student in one classroom is $60.00.
We appreciate your kindness and support of those we serve!
