We have in an important update to share with you regarding the upcoming Charlotte Open Water Swim Championships.
We were forced to CHANGE THE COURSE for the race on October 8th. Duke Energy has CLOSED river access at our start location to repair the dam.
To accommodate, we will revert to the original Charlotte Open Water Swim Championships course that is a 2-mile out-and-back from Mt. Holly Boat Landing. But don't worry! The dam will be off so there will be essentially NO current!
We do our best to avoid any such hiccups in our race series. Unfortunately this particular race has had a few hiccups beyond our control.
