The Walk-A-Thon is a peer-to-peer fundraising initiative that is open to everyone who wishes to participate as we form teams of families, friends, organizations, Sponsors, as well as individuals who would like to participate without a team.
Our goal this year is to raise $250,000.
With your help, 100% of the Walk-A-Thon’s fundraising dollars, will award grants to charities and foundations who share the same goals and vision that Mildred’s Dream Foundation has dedicated to achieving. It was Mildred’s passion and commitment to making the world a better place, by helping those with physical or mental health challenges including their families, eliminating violence and abuse while supporting survivors of such trauma, and providing the best education possible for everyone.
In 2021, Mildred’s Dream Foundation accepted grant requests from over sixty 501(c)3 non-profit organizations and after each request was reviewed and evaluated in great detail by our dedicated Grant Committee, we awarded over $350,000 to 26 deserving organizations below!
