The TEMBO Serengeti Challenge 2022 |
Starting on Mother’s Day (May 8th), individuals and teams will start a 10 day virtual walk run or bike across Serengeti National Park to support women and girls in northern Tanzania. Our goal this year will be to raise $30,000 to help support a girl’s dream of an education, allow women to attend a skills development program and provide much needed essential health and sanitation supplies to stay safe during the global pandemic.
There will be two routes to choose from: Starting from the airstrip in Seronera, in the middle of the park, participants will walk, run or bike to the gate at Fort Ikomo on the north border of the park for a total of 60km; Or starting at the Naabi Hill Gate, participants will cross the park to Fort Ikomo for a total of 100km.
