My Story…
I am going to swim the 4k Open Water Race to challenge myself while raising a few dollar and some awareness to the importance of clean water for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, SUPing, and of course drinking. ;) Please support my swim and that clean river water, if the cause speaks to you. Thank you!
Description
Ottawa Riverkeeper has been bringing people together to protect and promote the ecological health of the Ottawa River and watershed for over 20 years! With a watershed bigger than the size of England, measuring 1,271 km (from source to mouth), the Ottawa River is home to more than 24 imperiled species, such as the American eel and the Hickorynut Mussel.
Your donation will help to fund vital programs like the Pollution Hotline, our Watershed Health Assessment & Monitoring program, our Riverwatch network of incredible volunteers, and more!
