Help us raise money

Our family will once again be participating in the Heart Beats Family Fun Run on June 18, 2022 which has become an annual event devoted to our youngest member Bret! 

Our daughter Bret was born in December 2010 and, at 5 Weeks, was diagnosed with a coarctation of the Aorta which required immediate surgical repair. Within a week we were at the Stollery Childrens Hospital in Edmonton and 5 days later, thanks to the wonderful surgical team, were home for recovery. Almost 12 years later, Bret is a bundle of energy showing no ill effects from her newborn adventure.

Not every child is lucky enough to have the support system that Bret had, but with the help of organizations like the Heart Beats Children's Society, we can ensure that more children with congenital heart conditions will be able receive assistance and support and live long healthy lives like Bret!
