Virtual Kiwanis of the Big Bend Foundation, Inc and the Capital City Kiwanis Club Foundation, Inc

The mission of the Virtual Kiwanis Club Of the Big Bend (VKBB) is to improve the quality of life for children in our community by contributing the time and talents of our membership and the financial resources of the club.  Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club and VKBB is no different.  Funds raised through  the Firecracke 5k support children in the Big Bend are through projects like community center reading nooks, little libraries, diaper drives, scholarships, the UNICEF Neonatal Tetnu Project, The "Ferst" Readers Program, Grace Mission, Guardian ad Litem, handicap ramp builds, Heritage Trails Community School, holida meal baskets for families in need, Kids' Voting, Lighthouse for the Blind, Meals-on-Wheels, Neighbor2Neighbor, Helmets and Bike Safety Programs, Sportsability, Tales for Tots, Night to Shine, TMH Pediatric Unit Toy Donations and many others.
