My Story…
I’m running in memory of my twin brother, Scott. If you didn’t have a chance to meet Scott, let me tell you about him:
Scott enjoyed playing hockey, riding his golf cart, jamming out to music, watching movies, and making everyone smile. Scott had the most gentle heart and was the best brother you could ever ask for. Scott had Down Syndrome, and experienced myoclonic seizures growing up. On May 20th, 2018, Scott experience his first tonic-clonic seizure - 7 days later, he experienced his second - 10 days after that on June 7, 2018 Scott passed away from SUDEP after experiencing his third tonic-clonic seizure.
We will continue to raise awareness and support initiatives that will assist people living with epilepsy and their families. There is much more research that needs to be done.
Doing it for you, buddy! Love and miss you always.
Thank you for your support!
