My Story…
My name is Emmaleigh Kingdon, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy when I was 14. I have been through many ups and downs since I was first introduced to Epilepsy. It has taught me many life lessons throughout my journey and has made me a better person because of it. At first I thought this “disease” took apart of me but now I realize that it is apart of me. Everyday I still struggle with all that comes along with being epileptic, but everyday I continue to remember what is truly important and to be grateful for everything in life that I have been blessed with. For those of you that know me you may also know that I proudly display my purple epilepsy tattoo on my left forearm. I was once embarrassed but I am now proud of my life with epilepsy. On September 25th I will be walking 2.5 km in support of Epilepsy awareness. I would like to invite anyone to come join me on my walk or donate if you are able to!
Donate to help Emmaleigh raise money for 9th Annual Seize The Day, London’s fundraising campaign.
