Raise money for St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation

St. Joe’s looks forward to returning to the Around the Bay Road Race on March 26, 2023. St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation has been a charity partner of The Around the Bay Road Race since 2005. Since then, the event has raised more than $5 million to support enhanced patient care and innovative research at our Hospital.

Funds raised through this year’s Bay Race will support the following vital projects at St. Joe’s:

  • Bringing the latest in breast cancer diagnostic imaging equipment to our Hospital. This includes items like a Digital Breast Tomosynthesis machine that provides 3-D mammograms and a breast biopsy coil to support MRI screening for patients at a higher-risk of aggressive cancers.

  • Giving Babies and Families the Best Start Possible. We’re raising funds to help renew our 11 birthing rooms and expand our Special Care Nursery. With your help, we’ll be able to offer babies and families the very best start possible in units built just for them! New features will include enhanced infection control materials, dimmable lighting, and décor elements that are inspired by nature. The new birthing rooms will help parents to deliver their baby in the way that feels most comfortable for them. While the expanded special care nursery will help us to care for more babies who need a little extra love and medical attention.
