Raise money for NEED2 Suicide Prevention Education & Support
VISION STATEMENT: Caring communities without suicide
MISSION STATEMENT: Through our community programs and our on-line presence we work every day to prevent deaths by suicide. We provide accessible, emotional, and crisis support by engaging the community and advancing the dialogue. Create awareness. Break the silence. End the stigma. NEED2’s current efforts primarily focus on youth and young adults. Our Youth Suicide Prevention Programs work to prevent death by suicide and to support youth to stay safe and move forward with healthy coping skills. Key strategies involve support, engagement, education and awareness
About Need2:
Need2 Suicide Prevention, Education and Support is a non-profit organization that operates Youthspace.ca, a low-barrier crisis line for youth across Canada, accessible through chat and text messaging. Need2 also provides suicide prevention and awareness education in schools, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training to the local community, and operates a support group for people bereaved by suicide loss. We are working hard every day to employ a three-pronged approach to creating safer, healthier communities through prevention, education, and support, and we are grateful for any donations that can help us continue in our mission.
Thank you for helping us to advance the dialogue around suicide and create a safer world for everyone.
