The Sport Chek Mother's Day Run, Walk and Wheel supports two important charities in our community.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities is a national charity dedicated to helping kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in order to give all children the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends.
With an extensive, national network of more than 1,900 Community Partners and 300 local chapters, Jumpstart helps eligible families cover the costs of registration, transportation, and equipment, and provides funding to organizations for recreational infrastructure and programming.
Supported by the Canadian Tire Family of Companies which includes Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Atmosphere, Sport Experts, Mark's, PartSource and Gas+, Jumpstart has enabled over 1.5 million Canadian kids to get in the game since 2005.

Calgary Health Foundation - NICU funds breakthrough investments to give every newborn a fighting chance. We’re ensuring the one in eight babies born prematurely in our community have access to the best technologies available, and we’re actively addressing Alberta’s higher than average preterm birth rate through applied research. Your participation and support through the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Wheel will support our ongoing Newborns Need campaign which aims to raise over $60 million to transform neonatal care across Southern Alberta.
