President's Choice Children's Charity

Raise money for President's Choice Children's Charity

Established in 1989, President’s Choice Children’s Charity has been dedicated to helping children across Canada, and in that time has granted $192 million, reaching more than 5.1 million children. Since 2018, we have been committed to the fight against childhood hunger because we believe we have a vital role to play in providing access to good food and food education, ensuring all Canadian children can be, and should be, their happiest and healthiest – now, and in the future.

PC Children’s Charity is Canada’s top charitable funder of school meal programs, but we also reach children with a variety of programs after school, on the weekend and throughout the summer. Through a dedicated network of schools, trusted community programs and partners, PC Children’s Charity is ensuring that children at risk for hunger have a well-balanced meal every day, and are empowered to take charge of their eating habits by growing their food knowledge – providing the daily building blocks to live their life well.

The charity’s founder, Loblaw Companies Ltd, generously covers the cost of administration so every dollar raised goes to programs that make a direct impact on kids. Supported by Loblaw's network of more than 1,100 grocery stores, millions of customers and almost 200,000 employees, in 2019 the charity reached more than 800,000 children nationwide.
