Raise money for Unison Choruses Canada / Choeurs Unisson Canada
Unison Choruses Canada is a national not-for-profit organization that acts as a hub for Canadian 2SLGBTQIA+ choruses. Unison facilitates connections between choruses and provides resources to help choruses with administration, fundraising and programming.
Unison’s flagship event is the national Unison Festival, which is happening in Halifax this year on the same weekend as the Emera Blue Nose Marathon. This non-competitive festival for Canadian 2SLGBTQIA+ choirs takes place every four years.
The 2023 Unison Festival is hosted by local choirs The Women Next Door and the Halifax Gay Men's Chorus. 18 choirs from across Canada are travelling to Halifax for this celebration of music and community. The Unison Festival will be held at the Halifax Convention Centre from Friday, May 19 to Monday, May 22.
