My Story…
In 2022 I lost 3 wonderful, amazing people from my life in an accident. My little angel Rosemary (18 mo); her amazing, kindhearted, big brother, my son Thomas (17 yo); and his beautiful, loving mother Tammy. Also in the accident was our gentle, old SPCA rescue beagle Rosco (almost 18 yo), who was very special to them.
I am planning to run my first full marathon in their memory, raising funds to help out the SPCA - a place we obtained 2 of our 3 rescues over the years.
Thank you
Update: I wanted to let everyone know that I completed the Blue Nose full marathon on May 21st and that I (and I'm sure the SPCA) am very appreciative of your support. I think this would have put a smile on my family's faces. Thank you for your generosity.
Description
Proudly following open-admission and no-kill principles, the Nova Scotia SPCA is a registered charity that helps companion animals in need. Some pets were abandoned, injured, homeless or abused… but they all deserve a second chance.
The Nova Scotia SPCA does not receive any government funding to support our shelters. Your kind donations will ensure that homeless and hurt pets are saved. Sadly, there are always more.
