Love Puppies

Love Puppies mission is to End Puppy Mills in Canada by raising awareness and education, promoting adoption, and assisting with large scale rescues.  Puppy mills are a cruel multi-million industry that thrive by commercially breeding dogs in horrible conditions and selling them online or through breeders. Many Canadians are unaware of the industry and unknowingly purchase puppies from mills. Often these dogs experience health issues and the dogs kept for breeding live in conditions we cannot fathom. Canadians are welcoming Dogs into their homes at a growing rate right now, it is important we are aware of where our best friends come from.

In 2023 we are pleased to partner with Sea Paws Rescue. Sea Paws Rescue (SPR) is a small passionate team of animal lovers dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned and neglected animals all over the globe. Our goal is to give every animal the medical care, shelter, and love and care they need to ensure their successful integration from our foster homes into #SPRfurever homes.
  
 We partner with shelters locally in Canada as well as abroad, for whom we directly assist in facilitating adoptions. We strive to protect these innocent lives from abuse and neglect by educating the community on proper animal care and shedding light on our current issue of extreme animal overpopulation to ultimately reduce pet homelessness.

We look forward to working together with them to continue promoting dog adoption and spreading awareness on dog rescue from communities who need our help the most.

Together, we work to help the greatest possible number of animals and to save those who are suffering from the most severe abuse, investing our time, effort and resources in ways that will make a real difference. But we can’t do it without your support! We are stronger together and we would like to invite you to join our team and support our 2023 Yorkville Run to help animals!

Proceeds raised from the Yorkville Run in 2023 will be donated to Sea Paws Rescue Org.
