Deuil-Jeunesse is a national charitable organization which, through its specialized and personalized approach to bereavement, carries out its mission for the well-being of children, adolescents, young adults and adults who are experiencing a life shock related to the death of a loved one or serious illness.

The beginning of the specialized intervention begins with the emergency telephone line. Each bereavement is influenced by the type of death that occurred: a homicide, a suicide, the young person witnessed a tragedy, an accident, a serious illness, medical assistance in dying, etc. Whatever the type of death, it is essential that the young person knows the facts about the death otherwise he will have to regain control of his life story.

Deuil-Jeunesse promotes practices of social equality and health, non-discrimination and social inclusion within the organization and with our clientele: children, adolescents, adults, families and professionals.
