Half Marathon: This course is point to point and starts in Wallace and ends in Uptown Kellogg with 6 aid stations throughout. The majority of the run is on the paved Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes with two exceptions up Big Creek hill and the last mile into the finish line through the city of Kellogg. You run downhill for the first 7.5 miles until you climb a .9 mile hill at the Big Creek Aid station. These sections are clearly marked with chalk, tape, and cones. You run up the left side of the road in Big Creek and down the left side of the road. There is traffic on this section! After coming back down that .9 miles, you continue running downhill for the next three miles until you reach the city of Kellogg. The last .7 is uphill, but your very final jaunt into the finish line is a magnificent downhill! Beer awaits you!
5K: This course is point to point and starts on Highwater Road, 1 Mile West of Big Creek Road. At the start line, the course immediately joins in with the half marathon runners on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. You will run downhill for the first 2.4 miles on the paved trail until you get to the City of Kellogg. The last .7 miles is uphill, but your final burst into the finish line is downhill! With Radio Brewing and the party in view, you will make fast time on that last final stretch.
