1. EVENTS SCHEDULE
7:45am - Packet and bib pick-up starts at the Snail Lake Pavillion.
8:45am - Kid's Run
9:00am - 5K Run/Walk
9:05am - Bench Walk
10:15 am - 5K Awards Ceremony
2. PARKING
There are two parking lots located at Snail Lake Regional Park. One is located near the Pavillion and contains 130 spots. There is also a smaller lot with 40 spots near the Boat Launch area. Both are accessible from Snail Lake Blvd. Since street parking is very limited in this immediate area, please consider arriving a little early and ridesharing with friends and relatives. Ridesharing is fun!
3. 5K COURSE DESCRIPTION
The start/finish line will be close to the Snail Lake Pavillion. The course will head south on the asphalt trail under Snail Lake Blvd and Gramsie Rd (short tunnels), turning around on the east side of Grass Lake and returning along the same route back to the finish line. This is an open course. There may be other walkers, runners or cyclists on the asphalt trail with you, please be courteous to them and do not spread out wide so that others cannot get by you. To assure the safety of all participants, no pets or strollers are allowed on the course. Course will be accurately measured but not certified for this year.
4. BENCH WALK DESCRIPTION
The start/finish line will be close to the Snail Lake Pavillion. The course will head south on the asphalt trail to Rene's bench just before reaching Gramsie Rd (approximately .75 miles), turning around and walking back to the finish line (total 1.5 miles). This event is not timed. To assure the safety of all participants, no pets or strollers are allowed on the course.
