Age Requirements for Participation:
- 10K - Must be at least 12 years old to participate
- 5K - All ages are welcome
- 1-Mile - All ages are welcome
- Elite Mile - Must be at least 18 years old to participate
Registration Fees: 100% of fee goes to free, employ, and empower women
- May 1-May 31: 10K $40; 5K $30; 1-Mile $25
- June 1-August 27: 10K $45; 5K $35; 1-Mile $30
- August 28-September 4: 10K $50; 5K $40; 1-Mile $35
- Elite Mile: $25
Registration Deadline: Register online until 10-mintues before the start of each race. Walk-up registration is available starting at 6:30 a.m. race morning.
Start Times:
- 6:30 a.m. - Packet pick-up and walk-up registration open (remains open until 15-minutes prior to the start of each race)
- 7:30 a.m. - Elite Mile starts
- 8:00 a.m. - 10K & 5K start
- 9:30 a.m. - 1-Mile starts
Courses: Each race will start/end in Smale Riverfront Park. Click here to view course maps.
Water Stops: There is one water stop along the 5K course and there are 3 water stops along the 10K course.
Street Closures:
- Mehring Way from Elm St. to E Pete Rose Way
- E Pete Rose Way From Taylor Southgate to Riverside Dr
- Riverside Dr from Eggleston Ave to Bains St
- Eggleston Ave from E Pete Rose Way to Court St (Southbound Lanes only)
- Start line will close just after 6:00 AM
- 1 mile course will close just after 7:00 AM
- 5K & 10k courses will close just after 7:30 AM
Parking: Recommended parking is Central Riverfront Garage. Click here to view parking map. No free parking is available on race day, so please be prepared to pay to park. Additional pay lots are available downtown.
Packet Pick-up Options:
- Saturday, 9/2 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Oakley (3235 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45209
- Run morning, 9/4 starting at 6:30 a.m., Smale Riverfront Park, 166 W. Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Packet pick-up will remain open until 15-minutes prior to the start of race.
Results: Timing services will be provided by Race Penguin.

- Emcee - Cassy Arsenault is a reporter with Local12. She is a passionate fact finder committed to reporting news that you can use.
- DJ - Khalil Woods, is a DJ with Q102 who enjoys playing a wide variety of music. A big time sports fan, you can see Khalil before every home Bengals game playing some throwback tunes during the tailgates.
- National Anthem Vocalist - Julia Devadason is a senior at Covington Latin School and a voice student of Victoria Bernardini.
Local Charity Partner: BLOC Ministry's Redeemed Home is our local charity partner. The Redeemed Home offers transitional housing as part of an individualized, long-term intervention program designed to serve women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. Visit their booth at the Street Party to learn about getting involved in the incredible work they are doing within our community.
Post-race food and water: We are having a street party at this year's Aruna Run! While in the finish line chute, you will be able to grab fresh fruit, water, and other snacks. You will then be delivered directly into the street party on West Mehring Way to enjoy food and drinks from a variety of vendors. Featured food partners include: Skyline Chili, LaRosa's Family Pizzeria, Smoothie King, CLIF Bar, Biggby Coffee, and Pahhni Water. Every participant will receive a red ticket when exiting the finish line chute to redeem for a free 12oz Strawberry Gladiator Smoothie from the Smoothie King truck.
