My Story…
Hello! I am heading into the second year of my Post-Baccalaureate Child and Adolescent Clinical Fellowship at McLean Southeast. Since last June, I have been working as a Mental Health Specialist on McLean’s Adolescent Inpatient Unit, where I work with teenagers ages 13-18 who are experiencing acute mental health crises. I am extremely passionate about the work that I do, and wanted to make running this race a goal of mine, with a purpose. The Mental Health Collaborate aligns with my hopes of decreasing the stigma around mental health and providing higher quality, more accessible and trauma-informed, mental health care. Our mission is to build informed, resilient communities through education and awareness. We hope to improve mental health literacy in as many communities as we can.
