My Story…
Hello! I am heading into the second year of my Post-Baccalaureate Child and Adolescent Clinical Fellowship at McLean Southeast. Since last June, I have been working as a Mental Health Specialist on McLean’s Adolescent Inpatient Unit, where I work with teenagers ages 13-18 who are experiencing acute mental health crises. I am extremely passionate about the work that I do, and wanted to make running this race a goal of mine, with a purpose. The Mental Health Collaborate aligns with my hopes of decreasing the stigma around mental health and providing higher quality, more accessible and trauma-informed, mental health care. We believe that with education and awareness, we can work together to decrease stigma and open the door to conversations about mental illness. Our mission is to build informed, resilient communities through education and awareness. We hope to improve mental health literacy in as many communities as we can.
