Help Rebecca raise money

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2023 Falmouth Road Race to support Compassionate Care ALS! I am running and fundraising in thanks to CCALS, which provided invaluable support and equipment to David Kaynor, beloved friend of many. CCALS lent an eye gaze computer to David when ALS made it impossible for him to communicate via speaking or typing, and he persisted to learn to use it not only for everyday needs but also for composing, notating, and sharing fiddle tunes (the ability to do these things an everyday need in of itself). He also used the eye gaze computer to recommend running routes to me and his other caregivers. His coaching influence is still here and helps make it possible for me to be able to train for this race! I am excited to run this race’s seven miles in support of such an important organization. Funds raised from Falmouth Road Race allow Compassionate Care ALS to provide direct services and durable goods to ALS patients, their families, and their caregivers.
