Help us raise money

The Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts (BIA-MA) is proud to partner once again with the Numbers-for-Nonprofits Program for the 2023 running of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race. TEAM BIA-MA is made up of a proud group of runners that have all been affected by brain injury in some way or another! Brain injury does not discriminate and can affect anyone, at any time.  We are all here to spread brain injury awareness, the first step to prevention and understanding.  

In 2022, Team BIA-MA wowed us all and raised over $16,300 in support of our mission - to create better futures for those affected by brain injury!  A special thanks to the 2022 Team BIA-MA runners: Diane Machado, Courtney Farrell, Sarah Clancy, Sue Fleuette, Dawn LeBorgne, Karen    Dmohowski, Katie Eressy, Carly Eressy, Michelle Cole, Megan Irish, and Elizabeth Day. Since we started participating in this program, Team BIA-MA has raised over $120,000!

The purpose of the organization is to educate the public on the risk and impact of brain injury, promote programs to educate and prevent those injuries, advocate for improved legislation, and to offer support and resources to persons with brain injuries and their caregivers and families.
