Where can I submit my virtual race time?
Here is the link to the results page. Virtual runners can submit any time during Earth Month (April). You will be asked to upload a screenshot of your time in order to post to the public results page.
Are strollers allowed on the course?
Yes, strollers are allowed. Parts of the route are on a dirt path, so please use your discretion.
Are dogs allowed?
Carrier Park is a public park that allows dogs. We encourage furry friends to run in the back of the race rather than in front of our competitive racers.
Can I transfer to a different race?
All participants can transfer into the virtual version of the event up until the start of the event.
There will be no refunds for the price difference between events and there will be no transfer of registration to another person.
Please note that RaceRoster implements a transfer fee and will ask for your credit card information in order to process the transfer. This fee cannot be waived.
Are refunds available if I can no longer attend?
Due to the nature of the event, we will not be providing refunds if the event has to be canceled for unforeseen circumstances or if participant can not attend in-person. If you have registered and can not attend the in-person event, please transfer into the virtual event.
In the event of an unforeseen circumstance, such as an emergency, an act of god, or change in pandemic status resulting in the inability to have the in-person event, we reserve the right to cancel the event and automatically convert all in-person registrations to the virtual option and no refunds will be issued. Should this occur, your swag will be mailed to you for free.
What is the event weather policy?
Earth Day 5K will occur rain or shine. In the event of severe weather such as lightning or flooding, the event may be delayed.
What will I receive during packet pickup?
At packet pickup you will receive your timing bib, race day t-shirt, and goody bag.
How does timing work?
Your bib includes your timing chip. Please be careful not to bend the bib or remove the timing chip. The timing chip begins timing right at 8:00 AM and stops when you cross the finish line.
Will there be a place I am able to drop off my belongings before the race?
We do not have a designated location for bag drop. Please keep any items you do not wish to hold during the race in your cars. Carrier Park is a public park. Please use your own discretion and remember to lock your vehicles.
What can I expect at the start and finish lines?
The start line is where runners will line up prior to the race. We will make announcements leading up to the start time and will begin promptly at 8:00 AM for the 5K and 8:05 for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
At the finish line, we will have water, snacks, and vendor booths for you to look through. The awards ceremony will begin at 9:15 AM and prizes will be awarded.
Are restrooms available?
We will have both standard and accessible porta-potties available near the Pavilion for race participants.
If I elected to have my virtual 5K swag mailed, when will I receive it?
