Help Jessica raise money

I am directly impacted by incarceration, but I refuse to allow that circumstance to define who and what I am for the rest of my life...in fact, I consider it something that has made me stronger, wiser, and more compassionate. I am so much more than a number. I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a creator, a student, a teacher, an advocate...I am a survivor, an overcomer, a thriver, a fighter! Now I have the opportunity to work for and with some of the most amazing people in the world, and to make the world a better place one life at a time, and to learn and grow with them. Changed Choices is a small organization, but we do big things by concentrating on individuals and their lives, and that is why this walk is a huge deal, because it gives us the resources to pour into those lives in meaningful ways! Every lap we walk represents a barrier to successful reentry, a real-life thing that makes a hard process even harder, like finding housing and getting an ID and job training and finding transportation. That is what we are trying to do: smooth the way so that our ladies can bloom, and can show the world that they are more than their past circumstances. Just like me.
