Queensland Police Legacy Scheme

Thankyou for participating in the '40 for Fortey'.

The event is being held to commemorate the loss of Senior Constable Brett Forte who died in the line of duty on 29 May 2017 and proceeds from the event will be donated to Queensland Policy Legacy Scheme, an independent incorporated organisation that assists the eligible dependent families of deceased Queensland Police Officers, Queensland Police Officers whose spouse/partner has died and Queensland Police families with a parent suffering from an incurable/terminal illness.

Queensland Police Legacy is currently supporting 45 Queensland Police families and meeting the educational expenses of 68 dependent legatee children.

Queensland Police Legacy funds its important programs and activities by public donations, member payroll deductions and fundraising, investments and revenue from the distribution of its Child Safety Handbook.
