Is there an Age Limit for the race?
All races are run under Triathlon Australia rules. Therefore you must be 18 years old(at December 31 2023) to race the Beach House Hotel Hervey Bay 100 or 15 years old to race the Hit FM Hervey Bay 50. Team members must be 17 years old for the 100 or 14 years old to race in a team.
Can I race in a team?
Yes, team entries are available for the 50 & 100 this year.
What is my job as team captain?
As team captain, you will do the race entry and take responsibility for all your team members eligibility for the race. Ensure the emergency contact listed knows everyone in the team and any medical conditions are listed on the entry portal.
Will the swim be wetsuit legal?
We have had one wetsuit legal swim in HB100 history, which we are pretty sure was due to a faulty thermometer! Feel free to pack your wetsuit, but it is highly unlikely you will get to use it.
When is registration and racking?
50- Registration Friday afternoon, racking Saturday morning before the race
100- Registration Friday or Saturday afternoon, racking Sunday morning before the race
