My Story…
In 2006, I established, with the help of friends, Craig's Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society after my father, Craig Condon, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away just 8 weeks later at the age of 63.
17 years later, treatment and care are getting better and I have met some incredibly inspiring individuals along the way.
BUT, my dad should have had more time then 8 weeks. Many have even less time that this. It is STILL not ok. There is STILL work to be done!
"Losing my father to pancreatic cancer, so suddenly, was devastating. What was even more frustrating was the lack of information and awareness available to Canadians. After dad’s passing, I promised myself that others would not feel the isolation that we did from support and knowledge about this disease." -Stefanie
