Question: What is the target age and ability range for this camp?
Answer: 6th-12th graders are welcome at the camp, with athletes grouped for runs based on ability / experience. The intention is to help prepare athletes for upcoming winter and spring training and competition.
Question: What is the camp schedule?
Answer: The hours of the camp are 8:30-12:00 each day. Each day we will do a primary run ranging from 2-3 to 6-8 miles (based on ability / experience), participate in some further light ancillary physical activities, and hear from engaging speakers / panels.
Question: Will the campers be fed?
Answer: Campers will be provided pre and post run fueling and hydration, but we recommend each camper comes having had breakfast prior to arrival.
Question: What is the plan in case of inclement weather?
Answer: The trails from Cooley Landing Education Center provide safe travel with minimal weather impact. The Center provides a spacious, dry environment for indoor activities. Campers are encouraged to plan for appropriate clothing for the seasonal weather. In case of anything other than mild seasonal weather, we will be in touch proactively.
