Our story…
As Vermont Fire, we’ve paddled in every Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Championship. We love this event and the wonderful people who organize it.
This year we are changing our name to Boo’s Crew in honor, and sadly, in memory, of our dear friend Boo who tragically died of pancreatic cancer in the Fall of 2023. Her laughter, kindness, strength, and competitive spirit are with us every time we paddle.
This race is also part of ODBF's Shiver 'N Giver Fundraising drive to support local charities. Please consider a donation to our team to help support the work of many charitable organizations providing a variety of services in the Ottawa community.
