My Story…
I’m excited to share that on Saturday, August 3rd, I’ll be swimming in the Point to LaPointe Open Water Swim Race on Lake Superior. This will be my second attempt, and it means a lot to me because it’s a goal set by my mom, sweet Jibby. One of the last things she said to me was, “You will cross the finish line next year.”
Since September, I’ve dedicated myself to this challenge with 72 swim sessions, covering 88,175 yards (that’s 50 miles!). My zig-zagging in the water has definitely improved, and I’m ready to take on this challenge of crossing the finish line!
