Forest Lake Area Good Samaritans

Our mission is to spread random acts of kindness throughout the world, starting in our own community.  We commit random acts of kindness, and in return, ask the recipient to commit 3 of their own.  If every recipient commits 3 random acts of kindness, the whole world will have received 2 in 18 days.   We are a community service group that helps neighbors with yardwork, snow removal, home repairs, rides to doctors, financial help after a fire, car donations for families without cars, adopting families at Christmas, and many more good deeds as they are requested by our community.  We are in our 6th year, and have branched out by forming groups in neighboring communities.  Our mission statement reads, " Our Mission is to create a stronger community by doing good deeds for our neighbors. Including, spontaneous random acts of kindness, and by spreading good will within our community. We encourage people to pay it forward, and to help spread the kindness to surrounding communities. Striving to  create a model that other towns or communities can adopt."
