Join us on Saturday, October 19, 2024, for the LOOSEFOOT 616 Run to Remember,

Show time 0700, 0715 safety brief, 0730 start time in front of Aviation rescue swimmer school.

This is an annual event in honor of the fallen crew of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8. Hosted by the AWS1 James Buriak Foundation, this run helps raise funds to support Navy and Marine Corps aviation families through pre- and post-mishap assistance. Participants can choose between a 6.16-mile, 6.16-km, or 616-meter run for kids, with all proceeds benefiting the foundation’s mission of providing critical family support in times of need.
