Raise money for CAP St-Barnabé
The CAP St-Barnabé, an essential community organization for over 30 years in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve area, fights against poverty and social exclusion.
The CAP St-Barnabé's mission is to contribute to improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable through support aimed at promoting autonomy and access to housing.
Since April 1, 2023, the CAP has operated 3 emergency shelters for people experiencing homelessness, with a total of 350 open spaces 24/7, and now owns 4 transitional houses for a total of 60 transitional housing units.
In summary, the CAP provides:
- Over 127,000 overnight stays annually;
- An average of 1,200 meals served per day;
- Clinical meetings and follow-ups with users;
- Support in applying for social assistance, health insurance cards, tax assistance, legal follow-ups, etc.;
- Over 300 follow-ups with tenants in our 4 houses to promote housing stability and combat isolation.
Individuals experiencing homelessness rely on CAP Saint-Barnabé for support in their difficulties and to receive essential services. With your donations, let's shape a future filled with solidarity, hope, and progress!
