My Story…
Within 6 months, I have lost both an aunt and an uncle that have left a profound void in my family. My Thia Georgia was and always will be the strongest person I have ever met. She won her battle because she was not taken down by cancer. Rather, she took cancer down with her. My Thio George was like a second father to me. He was the coolest, most passionate and full of life person. He was taken from us suddenly, without any warning signs, and his loss has left a hole in our hearts forever.
Last August, I was hospitalized with a case of viral (temporary) myopericarditis. Building my cardio back up will be an uphill battle but I will try my best to run as fast as a 1981 red Camaro 🏎️
I am running as a tribute to the strength and courage of these two great people that were taken from us too soon.
Donations will go straight to the Montreal Heart Institute in honour of my uncle and my medal will be donated to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation for my aunt 🎗️
