My Story…
This will be my 7th year participating in the Ruck4HIT!
It's a great event that supports a great organization (Heroes In Transition) that is doing so much to assist service members, veterans, and military families in our community.
Please know that any donation is important and will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families who sacrifice so much for our country.
I will be driving (and running a leg or two) in honor of my father George, an Army veteran, who died in April 2018 at the age of 82. He was immensely proud of his military service.
I'm also participating in honor of Marine Captain Eric A. Jones as well as his parents, Cyndy and Kenneth Jones — I encourage you to read about them (and the courage, compassion, and selflessness they all have shown in their lives) on Heroes In Transition's website (www.heroesintransition.org).
