Our story…
The Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be partaking in the 2024 Ruck for HIT for the seventh year. The Ruck for HIT is a team relay where members of each team will “ruck” or run wearing a weighted backpack through all 15 Cape towns and back again. Beginning at midnight on Friday April 26th in Bourne, running out to P-Town and ending at Cape Cod Coffee in Mashpee Commons on Saturday April 27th. All money raised goes to Heroes in Transition, a Cape based veterans support organization which has made countless contributions to our local heroes. Team BCSO is incredibly honored to participate again this year.
