OUR CHARITY PARTNER

K9 Advocacy Manitoba is a charitable organization founded in 2015 by First Nations Nurse Jasmine Colucci. The main goal of this organization is to provide rural First Nation communities with assistance in managing the overpopulation of stray dogs.

The lack of regulations and the inability of First Nations communities to provide for a population of this size leads to dogs having little or no shelter, sustenance, or health care. During times of desperation, many of these stray dogs find themselves living on the unsanitary grounds of local dumps, exposing themselves to countless diseases and the harsh conditions of Manitoba’s warm summers and bone-chilling winters.

Ranging from money for vet bills, food and supplies for fosters, and travel to and from First Nations communities, donations are greatly needed and go a long way in helping rescue these deserving animals.
