The 2024 Griffith Sport Logan Fun Run will be held on Sunday 26 May. The course traverses the most scenic areas of the Griffith University Logan campus and is perfect for runners and walkers alike. The courses are run over a variety of different surfaces, from dirt and grass to gravel and asphalt. You'll find sharp turns, short steep hills and long cantered sections all combining to constantly disrupt your rhythm.

Back for it's second year, the 'School's Challenge' will provide a fun and engaging opportunity for local schools to build on their school's community, give their student runners an opportunity to represent their school and put their running to the test against other schools. Ultimately, we will find out exactly which school has the best cross country runners in 2024.

So why not challenge yourself to this glorious cross country course in the 10km, 5km or 2.5km distances. There is even a cross country 1km Junior Dash for the kids.

Design Statement

I took inspiration from the native plants and flowers that grow within the wider Meanjin/Brisbane area that these runs are located to represent the trails taken and the flora runners might see along the way.cI wanted to highlight familiar Australian native plant life in my work because it doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from, everyone can recognise the beauty of Australian native plants. To me these plants represent Australia as a whole; we all come from different walks of life and cultures, yet we are all Australians.
