Who are we?

Bumrun is a charity that raises awareness of colon cancer screening and prevention.

For 13 years, we have organized 5K walk/run events and raised more than $1.2 million net for various colon cancer charity organizations.

Our funds go toward colon cancer research, enhancing patient support programs for families living with colon cancer, and raising awareness of colon cancer screening and prevention.

Canada has one of the highest colon cancer rates in the world, affecting 1 in 16 Canadians. But 90% of deaths could be prevented with screening, so get ahead of your behind and join us this Bumrun!

What does registration include?

Registration includes:

• Personalized fundraising page

Is there a live 5K option?

Yes! You can register for a live Bumrun in Toronto, Halifax, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Please note that we are unable to transfer registration between events, so you will not be able to change from virtual to live or vice versa once you have signed up.

How do teams work?

Teams are a fun way to fundraise with your family and friends! During registration, you can either create or join a team in the "Team" section of the registration page. If you have any difficulty, please click here for more info.

Please note that teams are specific to each city event, so you are unfortunately unable to join a team with registrants in the Toronto, Halifax, Calgary, or Vancouver races.
