Beginner Race Clinic - January 14

Where: Rock Hill Criterium Course and Mountain Bike Trails.

This volunteer-staffed clinic is hosted by Shawn Gentry, PMBI-Certified Skills Instructor and Head Coach/Founder of CLTMTB
Join Coach Shawn and a host of PMBIA-certified MTB skills instructors, NICA coaches, and Industry Professionals for this Beginner Race Clinic, free to all riders who are interested in the Start2Finish Winter Short Track Series. Pre-registration is 100% mandatory for all participants. There is no “day-of” registration and we will cap registrations at 100 participants. If you are new to racing, this clinic is for you!
During this 3 hour clinic, riders will have the opportunity to learn the following race-specific skills and have the chance to pre-ride the official race course. Riders will be grouped together with other riders of a similar age and skill level.

At the same time, a separate “show & go” clinic will be offered for young riders, 8 years old and under who are interested in participating in the “Free Kids Race”. There is no need to pre-register these riders.
This clinic is FREE but registration is REQUIRED for those older than 9.
