For everyone's safety & comfort, cyclists are to ride responsibly.
- You are responsible for your own health & safety. The roads are open to other traffic. Please abide by the rules of the road. Only participate in events that match your fitness, ability and experience level. Call 9-1-1 if there's a medical emergency.
- The 100k is an unsupported ride. The roads and multi-use paths are open to the public. Cyclists uncomfortable sharing the main travel lane of roads with motorized traffic should not participate in the 100k ride. If you need help because your bike has a mechanical breakdown you can't fix - Steve, That Mobile Bike Guy is on call at (519) 990-8644;
- You must be able to ride safely among others;
- Solo cyclists must be familiar with the course and the environs. Know your location;
- Helmets are required;
- Ear buds are not allowed. Cycling safely requires that you hear what's going on around you;
- Make sure your bike is in good working order; and,
- The cut-off time to complete the 100k is 3PM. Please call or text (403) 707-5767 if you are unable to complete the event.
