Raise money for Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, New England Chapter

AAFA New England’s mission since 1979 is the control and cure of asthma and allergies in all six New England states, and to improve quality of life for those managing, or caring for someone, with these chronic diseases. As a patient education/advocacy organization, we fulfill our mission through:

  • Speaker Series webinars

  • Educational program initiatives, such as the Take A Breath: Asthma Education program

  • Asthma & Allergy Bulletins published three times annually

  • Support and awareness services, providing health management information

  • Legislative advocacy

  • Family Programming, as a partner with the MGH Food Allergy Buddies Program

  • Research Support, including our $10,000 Medical Research grant.

How many of your family members and friends are affected by food allergies, environmental allergies, or have asthma? Our work is more needed today than ever before. New England has one of the highest asthma rates in the country affecting one in every 9 people and one in every 5 has allergies. There has been a frightening 18% increase in food allergies in children in the last decade; up to 8% of U.S. children live with life-threatening food allergies.

AAFA New England is the only local organization to provide services to help New Englanders manage their asthma and food and other allergies. All programs are offered free.

Your support makes a difference - Thank you!
