Swim Across America Nantucket raises monies to provide cancer care and treatment for patients and families on Nantucket Island through Mass General Cancer Center at Nantucket Cottage Hospital and PASCON (Palliative & Support Care of Nantucket). Money also goes to fund critical and groundbreaking research at Mass General Cancer Center. While SAA Nantucket is a swimming fundraiser a running team was created in 2019 to support this incredible cause.
Description
The Swim Across America Nantucket Team is a group of runners who are committed to raising money to support cancer care and support on Nantucket Island through a partnership with Mass General Hospital Cancer Center. Proceeds directly support treatment and support through Nantucket Cottage Hospital and Palliative and Supportive Care of Nantucket.
