2024 Ambassador Team Application

If you love running and are an active member in your running community, apply to become a 2024 Seattle Marathon Ambassador or Elite Ambassador! Please read through all requirements before applying.

Accepting applications until February 15^th.

Ambassador requirements:

• Promote Seattle Marathon events on social media and in your community.
• Volunteer for one shift at the UW Medicine Seattle Marathon Health & Fitness Expo (November 29^th & 30^th)
• Volunteer at the Seattle Kids Marathon (November 30^th)

Optional: Ambassadors are welcome to participate in group runs and meetups hosted by the Elite Ambassador team, but it’s not required. Volunteering at the Seattle Marathon Summer Event is strongly encouraged but not required.

Ambassadors receive:

• Official 2024 Seattle Marathon Ambassador shirt (choice of long sleeve, short sleeve, or tank top)
• Personal 15% discount code for SMA events to share and help promote events
• After 10 signups with your personal discount code, you will receive a free entry (or refund) to the UW Medicine Seattle Marathon or Half Marathon.
• Name, picture, and social media handle on our website

Elite Ambassador Requirements:

• Must live within the greater Seattle area
• Volunteer for one shift at the UW Medicine Seattle Marathon Health & Fitness Expo on November 29^th or 30^th 2024
• Volunteer at the Seattle Kids Marathon event on Saturday, November 30^th 7:30am-10:30am.
• Volunteer at the Seattle Marathon Association booth at one local running event.
• Volunteer at the Seattle Marathon Summer Event on Saturday, June 22^nd.
• Promote our events on social media and in your community.
• Actively participate in the Elite Ambassador community by attending group runs, and meetups.

Elite Ambassadors receive:

• Two official 2024 Seattle Marathon Ambassador shirts (choice of long sleeve, short sleeve, or tank top)
• Ambassador welcome package
• Personal 15% discount code for SMA events to share and help promote events
• After 10 signups with your personal discount code, you will receive a free entry (or refund) to the UW Medicine Seattle Marathon or Half Marathon.
• Name, picture, bio, and social media handle on our website
• Special feature on SMA social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok)
• Comp codes to local races
