Due to recent unforeseen and unexpected developments, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Easter 5k Trail Run. After careful consideration and in light of those developments, we have determined that we will not be able to deliver the quality experience that we hold ourselves to. We understand the disappointment this news may bring, especially to those who have been eagerly anticipating the run. Please know that this decision was not made lightly.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We value your enthusiasm and support for our camp activities, and we assure you that we are exploring alternative options for future events.
For those who have already registered, we are happy to refund your registration fee or you may choose to donate your fee to the Camp Carter scholarship fund for campers. The fund allows us to serve our mission to provide summer camp experiences to all children regardless of their family's financial status. However, if you would prefer a refund, we understand that as well. Please let us know by March 30 if you would prefer a refund by emailing camper@ymcafw.org.
We would like to invite you to our other upcoming events here at Camp, including our upcoming Open Houses. Open Houses are a great (and free) way to experience Camp. Bring your friends and family and enjoy activities including the challenge course, archery, canoeing, camp tours, games, and snacks (cookies!). Our next open houses are on April 21st from 1pm-4pm and May 19th from 1pm to 4pm.
